Peter’s responsibilities include ensuring that process designs for major projects in the Oil and Gas Industry meet the expectations of clients by achieving business objectives such as target capacity, product quality, operability, maintainability and process safety.

Work History

Peter has over 30 years of experience in the oil and gas industry. Peter has been responsible for the development of a substantial number of projects from concept stage to commercial operation. He has been employed by AGM Process Engineering for 3 years primarily in the upstream coal seam gas sector as a process consultant providing specialist advice in process design and project concept development. Prior to joining AGM Process Engineering, Peter was employed by BP primarily developing oil refining projects for BP’s Bulwer Island and Kwinana refineries. Peter also fulfilled commercial roles, developing and managing a number of billion dollar long term contracts.

Skills

Peter is highly skilled in all aspects of oil and gas project development, from concept and business development to scope development. Commercial skills augment process design skills to provide a complete set of development skills for multi owner projects. While Peter’s core capability is in chemical process engineering, he has developed a detailed knowledge of other engineering disciplines and plant operations. This allows him to lead multi discipline project develop activities. Projects developed include oil refining, industrial gas production, power generation, coal seam gas and water treating industries.
