Mechanical Engineer of AGM Process Engineering

Since joining AGM, Matt has worked on the APLNG Projects for Origin Energy focusing on the close out and handover of various infrastructure packages.


Work History

Matt joined AGM Process Engineering in 2015 working on the close out and handover of various APLNG Projects for Origin Energy.

Prior to joining AGM, Matt spent 2.5 years working for Origin Energy as a project and package engineer on the APLNG Project undertaking upgrades and expansions of existing water and gas facilities. Here he was responsible for coordinating design packages, equipment procurement and construction scopes.

Matt also spent 18months working for QGC as a project engineer on the design and construction of the Kenya Water Treatment Plant. Matt has over 5 years experience as a mechanical design engineer on a number of major upgrades and expansions to water and wastewater treatment facilities nationally and a further 3 years as a project engineer in the pumping industry.


Matt has built up a considerable knowledge and skill base across a broad range of water and gas infrastructure through previous Client, Constructor, Consulting and Vendor based Project Engineering and Design Engineering roles. He has a keen eye for detail, understands construction processes in both Greenfield and Brownfield environments and is able to identify and apply practical solutions to all situations.
