Currently, Hamish is the Engineering Manager in the Water Solutions Implementation Team for the APLNG Project. He is accoutable for engineering of all permeate and brine transfer and disposal projects as part of the APLNG Phase I Project.

Work History

Hamish has worked for 16 years, both in the United Kingdom as well as Australia. For the first six years, Hamish worked for a technology licensing company in England, predominantly as a Process Systems Engineer, in both the petrochemical and fertiliser industries. Over the last decade, he has been located in Brisbane, where he has been responsible for process design and more recently, engineering management. He has probably earned the title of “Most experienced person in coal seam methane experience in Queensland!”

Hamish is a self-motivated individual with strong leadership qualities. He is equally comfortable working independently on small conceptual design activities as managing multi-discipline engineering teams complete detailed design. Hamish has strong written and verbal communication skills. His pleasant and diligent nature helps ensure that the various client/contractor/vendor relationships function successfully.
