Senior Process Engineer of AGM Process Engineering

As a Senior Process Engineer for AGM Process Engineering, Alexis is mainly responsible for process design activities. He is also responsible for the supervision of graduate engineers undertaking process design tasks. Activities in this role include conducting feasibility studies, producing front-end engineering design packages and providing assistance during the detailed design of chemical engineering projects.


Work History

Alexis’ technical background began in oil refining where he has held Process design roles in Australia and the UK. He has had experience with a wide spectrum of project work ranging from Pre-FEED conceptual studies to detailed design documentation and commissioning. He has gained significant experience in hydroprocessing, relief design, separations and heat transfer. He has also worked in the upstream industry spending 3 years working with onshore conventional and coal seam gas facilities in Australia. He has undertaken process design and small projects management roles during this time with excellent success. In 2010/2011 Alexis spent a year on sabbatical in Paris, France working for an EPCM company acting in a senior process engineering role and perfecting his French language skills.


Alexis is the archetypal process engineer, never straying too far from his red pen, highlighter and excel spreadsheet. With a career approaching 10 years in the oil and gas industry, Alexis has built a solid platform of technical excellence. Alexis has strong written and verbal communication skills which have enabled him to work seamlessly, embedded within the working environment of various clients with great success. His empathetic and diligent nature has been critical in liaising with clients to achieve the right results.
